225.01 Disqualified Individuals (AAM) |
_____________________________________________________________
Certain individuals, including fleeing felons and probation or parole violators, are disqualified for not complying with a program requirement.
These individuals continue to be eligible for SSP medical assistance, as long as all other program requirements are met.
Include the income and resources of the disqualified individual per current policy, with all applicable disregards, deductions, etc., allowed. The "needs" of the disqualified individual are not allowed when determining the SSP financial eligibility and benefit amount.
Example: If the SSP financial household size is 2 (husband and wife), and one of the individuals is disqualified, the SSP financial AG size will be 1. The disqualified individual’s income and resources still count in full towards the AG, but the income and resource limits for an AG of 1 will be used to determine SSP financial eligibility and benefit amount.
For more information, see PART 319, FLEEING FELONS AND PROBATION OR PAROLE VIOLATORS.
