Medicare Savings Program (MSP) - The umbrella term used to refer to the following medical assistance programs as a group: Qualified Medicare Beneficiary (QMB), Specified Low Income Medicare Beneficiary (SLMB & SLMB135), and Qualified Disabled and Working Individual (QDWI) programs.

Month of application - The month in which the completed and signed application is received by the Department.
