305.05 Verification of Citizenship SR 94-04, 04/94 (AAM-A)

Use third-party (collateral) information to establish that the individual is a U.S. citizen. Examples include any of the following: birth certificate, U.S. passport, baptismal certificate recorded within 3 months of age and showing that the ceremony took place in the U.S., or suitable documentation from INS which certifies citizenship or naturalization.

Deny financial or medical assistance for the entire assistance group for failure or refusal to verify citizenship at the initial determination of eligibility.
