407.01 Financial Assistance and Categorically Needy Medical Assistance SR 13-14, 03/13 (AAM-A)

• Consider a MEAD-eligible individual resource-eligible if the total value of countable resources of the assistance group is:

- $26,755 for an individual; and

- $40,132 for a couple.

• Consider a non-MEAD-eligible individual resource-eligible if the total value of countable resources of the assistance group is $1,500 or less.

• Apply a $1,000 resource disregard to all applicants and recipients of NF, CFI, or HCBC who meet the gross categorically-needy income limit, but not the $1,500 categorically-needy resource limit.
