Table B: Special Income Limits for CFI and HCBC Individuals SR 18-01, 01/18 (AAM-A)

Individuals requesting any category of Home and Community-Based Care (HCBC) including Choices for Independence (HCBC-CFI) services may be eligible for HCBC medical services only via the income limits specified below, when the assistance Group (AG) meets all the eligibility requirements for a category of DFA financial or medical assistance, except for income.

Individuals eligible for HCBC services via the income limit below are eligible for medical assistance only and are considered an assistance group of 1, even if their spouse lives with them. See Section 230.03, HCBC-DD/ABD/IHS Medical Assistance, and Section 231.03, HCBC-ECI Medical Assistance.

Gross monthly income must be less than or equal to the Nursing Facility "CAP" of $2,250.

Net income must be less than or equal to the PIL. Compare net income to the PIL for In and Out MA if net income exceeds the PIL.
