Nursing facility residents are allowed a minimum $65 personal needs allowance each month.
Issue semimonthly supplemental payments to individuals with available income less than the $65 personal needs allowance. The difference between the available income and $65 is the monthly amount of the supplemental payment. Supplemental payments are not subject to the $2.00 minimum payment requirement. See Part 617, GRANT DETERMINATION.
