127.05 Notification During the Initial Interview (FAM)

During the initial eligibility interview, Financial Assistance to Needy Families (FANF) applicants are notified of the following, if applicable:

The New Hampshire Employment Program (NHEP):

•       Requirement to attend the NHEP orientation as a condition of eligibility for financial assistance; and

•       The purpose of NHEP and what to expect when meeting with the team.

Child Support Requirements:

•       Child support enforcement services and the penalties for non-compliance with child support requirements, including establishing paternity.

60-month Lifetime Limit for Financial Assistance:

•     The time-limited, temporary "extensions" to the FANF lifetime limit that families may request who have received FANF financial assistance for 60 months and are experiencing one of the hardship extension criteria. See PART 134, HARDSHIP EXTENSIONS.
