303.09 Out-of-State Recipient Moves into New Hampshire (FAM)

When an individual received benefits in another state, contact the out-of-state agency to establish eligibility dates for New Hampshire.  Individuals are not to receive the same benefit type during the same time period(s) in more than one state.

Information needed from the out-of-state agency:

·         Dates of eligibility; and

·         Total number of months each assistance group member received TANF financial assistance as an adult or minor casehead in that state.  Apply those months towards both the 60-month federal and state lifetime limit for each adult or minor casehead in the FANF financial assistance group. 

Do not count any months of receipt of financial assistance other than those funded by that state’s federal TANF block grant.
