305.29 Reporting Illegal Aliens to INS (FAM)

Inform INS (attn.: Investigations) within 10 calendar days whenever a household or assistance group member proves to be an illegal alien. "Illegality" implies that the noncitizen has either entered the country illegally or is illegally remaining in the U.S.

Example

An alien exhibits a deportation order or makes an admission establishing illegality.

Inability or unwillingness to verify noncitizen status is not sufficient for a determination of illegality.
