169.01 Determining the Four-Month Coverage Period SR 06-12, 10-06 (FAM-A)

Base the four-month extended medical assistance coverage period on the date of the last TANF/UP payment for which the individual was eligible, as follows:

• If the individual’s last eligible payment is for the 30th payroll of the month in which financial assistance terminates, begin four-month extended medical assistance coverage on the first day of the following month.

• If the individual’s last eligible payment is for the 15th payroll, begin four-month extended medical assistance coverage on the 16th day of the month in which financial assistance terminates. Count the month in which financial assistance terminates as the first full month of the four-month period.
