203.03 FAP (Family Assistance Program) SR 00-16, 03/00 (FAM-A)

The FAP Program provides financial assistance for families with dependent children who receive assistance and:

• who are cared for by a parent or caretaker relative-included who meets one of the permanent exemption criteria in FAM 808.05 , Exemptions from Participation in NHEP , or• 

• are cared for by a relative other than a parent who is not receiving assistance (caretaker relative not included).

This program has no work component. All members of a FAP case are exempt from NHEP work program requirements.
