207.11 When Dependent Child Reaches Maximum Age SR 06-12, 10/06 (FAM-A)

When a dependent child reaches maximum age for TANF/UP, terminate the child from assistance as of the first day of the month following the child’s birth month. When the child is the only dependent child in the case, close the entire TANF/UP case. When the dependent child is an SSI recipient who reaches age 18, advise the parent/caretaker relative that the child may be eligible for APTD financial assistance.
