213.17 Termination of UP and Eligibility for Other Programs SR 11-30, 07/11 (FAM-A)

UP medical assistance cases that close due to employment status may be eligible for 12 months of extended medical assistance (EMA)*.

If the UP medical assistance recipient was receiving a NH Child Care Scholarship at the time of closing, this assistance will continue:

• with the cost share adjusted to reflect the familys new income level; and

• for as long as the family remains income eligible and complies with all program requirements, such as supplying information by redetermination deadlines and participating in employment or education/training activities.
