213 UP ELIGIBILITY SR 06-12, 10/06 (FAM-A)

UP is a financial assistance program for two-parent families with dependent children in which the principal wage earner (PWE) becomes unemployed. Categorical non-financial and financial requirements for UP eligibility are the same as the requirements for NHEP cash assistance. Both parents are required to participate in the New Hampshire Employment Program to be eligible, and the PWE must meet the unemployment criteria outlined in PART 213.
