For eligible children, provide *Children’s Medicaid (CM) through the day of the month before the day the child turns 19 years of age.
To be eligible for *CM a child must be a:
• U.S. citizen or eligible qualified alien; and
• New Hampshire resident.
There is no requirement that a child live with a parent or specified relative.
The child must also meet the listed requirements* to be eligible:

Exception: Children under age 19 who are pregnant should have their eligibility for medical assistance initially determined according to the requirements for Medical Coverage for Pregnant Women (MCPW), as there are special benefits associated with this coverage group. See Part 221 , Pregnant Women.
