222.21 Family Planning MA Determining Presumptive Eligibility (PE) SR 13-30, 07/13 (FAM-A)

Authorized qualified entities (community outreach providers who have attended DHHS training on presumptive eligibility policy) may make presumptive eligibility (PE) decisions for Family Planning medical assistance (MA). Presumptive eligibility is a process by which a qualified entity (QE) acts on behalf of DHHS and makes an eligibility determination for Family Planning MA using verifications collected from the applicant. For more information on the PE process for Family Planning MA, see Section 131.01, Presumptive Eligibility.
