243.01 Assistance Group Composition SR 95-08, 02/95 (FAM-A)

Assistance group composition for a HCBC-ABD eligible individual differs based on the category of assistance received and the individual’s income.

• If the individual’s income is within categorically or medically needy limits for the category of assistance being received, refer to the assistance group composition policy for that specific category of assistance.

If the individual’s income exceeds the categorically or medically limits for the category of assistance being received, the individual is considered an assistance group size of 1 for purposes of determining HCBC eligibility.
