321 INELIGIBILITY FOR FRAUDULENT RECEIPT OF MULTIPLE BENEFITS SR 97-08, 03/97 (FAM-A) |
Individuals are ineligible for assistance payments or food stamps for ten years from date of conviction in State or Federal court, if:
• convicted of having made a fraudulent statement related to residence, and
• the fraudulent statement was made to receive TANF, MA, SSI, or food stamps simultaneously in 2 or more states.
Exception: Individuals convicted of fraudulent receipt of multiple benefits continue to be eligible for TANF-related medical assistance, provided other requirements are met.
