705.07 Method of Payment SR 94-04, 04/94 (FAM-A)

Require the funeral director to submit an itemized bill which must list all of the following:

• the deceased’s name,

• all expenses incurred,

• the name and address of any sources providing payment toward expenses, and the amount of the payment, and

• burial or cremation expenses in addition to funeral costs.

Review the itemized bill to ensure the total costs are within the $1,500 maximum limit for the funeral and proper disposal.
