English as a Second Language (ESL) SR 06-12, 10/06 (FAM-A)

English as a Second Language, (ESL) is a secondary activity that may be included on an NHEP participant’s employability plan. This activity must be supervised daily. The countable hours must be verified and documented on the bi-weekly Form NHEP266, NHEP Education/Training Activities Verification Form, or other verifications, approved by NHEP, and signed by the education or training organization and returned to the NHEP worker. This form will include verification for any supervised homework time, which must be conducted in a structured and monitored manner.
