*At initial eligibility and redetermination, allow Child Care Scholarship for parent(s) to actively seek employment or parent(s) without permanent housing to actively seek employment and housing in the same week.

At initial eligibility and redetermination parents are considered to be actively seeking employment when they are:

Payments to families must not exceed 92 days of Child Care Scholarship.

The level of service authorized for the individual at the initial eligibility or redetermination will remain the same during the 92 day job search period, unless the parent(s) requests a decrease. See PART 923.02,CONTINUED ELIGIBILITY FOR JOB SEARCH DURING THE 12 MONTH ELIGIBILITY PERIOD.

A parent cannot request an increase in service level for job search during the 12 month continued eligibility period.
