709.19 Time Frame for Replacing Destroyed Food (FSM)

Approved replacement benefits for destroyed food must be issued within 10 calendar days of the date the loss was reported to the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) or within 2 working days from receipt of the FS recipient’s signed statement of loss, whichever is later. Delay the replacement when available documentation makes the request appear fraudulent.
