129 PENDING INFORMATION SR 09-11 Dated 11/09 (FSM-A) |
If more information or verification is needed to complete the application, allow the individual at least 10 calendar days to provide it.
For expedited service applications, postpone all verification except identity.
New HEIGHTS will generate the AE0026, Verification Checklist, which explains what information or verification is needed and the date the information or verification is due. The New HEIGHTS-generated AE0026 is automatically generated anytime something is entered onto the Application Entry screen, marked "Not Yet Verified," and eligibility is run. If New HEIGHTS is unavailable, use the paper backup DFA Form 808, Proof Needed to Determine Your Assistance.
If the individual does not provide the information or verification by the due date, deny the application on the next day after the request due date.
Exceptions:
• If the eligibility factor in question does not affect the eligibility of the entire case, disqualify the ineligible member(s) and open the remaining members.
• If the individual is eligible, process the case so that benefits are credited to the EBT Food Stamp account and available to the client by the 30th day after the filing date. If it is not possible to issue benefits by the 30th day, process the EBT Food Stamp issuance the day the individual provides the needed information or verification.
