If more information or verification is needed to complete the application, allow the individual at least 10 calendar days to provide it.

For expedited service applications, postpone all verification except identity.

Give the individual Form 808 explaining what information is needed and the date the information is due.

If the individual does not provide the information or verification by the due date, deny the application no earlier than the 30th day after the application date.

Exceptions:

. If the eligibility factor in question does not affect the eligibility of the entire case, disqualify the ineligible member(s) and open the remaining members.

. If necessary, hold the application past the 30th day to allow the individual at least 10 days to comply. If the individual does not comply by this deadline, deny no earlier than the following day.

. If the individual is eligible, process the case so that food stamps are mailed on the 28th day after the filing date. If it is not possible to mail the food stamps by the 28th day, complete a manual issuance the day the individual provides the needed information or verification.
