There is no ANP when any of the following circumstances result in termination of assistance, decreases in the level of eligibility, or decreases in the amount of benefits:
• The individual provides a written, signed request to terminate assistance.
• Individuals provide information in writing which they realize will result in the termination of assistance or decrease in the level of eligibility or amount of assistance.
• For expedited service, there is no ANP for either of the following situations:
- the individual does not provide postponed verification within the 30-day time frame, or
- the individual provides verification within the 30-day time frame which results in termination or a decrease in benefits. Notify the individual at the time of certification that food stamp benefits will be adjusted without advance notice when the verification is received.
• The individual applied for a public assistance or SSI grant and food stamps at the same time and is receiving food stamps at the time the grant application is approved. Notify the individual at the time of certification that food stamp benefits will be adjusted without advance notice when the grant is approved.
• The state or federal government initiates mass changes.
• All members of the household have moved out-of-state.
• All members of the household have died.
• The individual has been getting a higher benefit amount to restore lost benefits, and the restoration is complete. Notify the individual in writing before the higher benefit amount ends.
• A household member is disqualified because of an intentional program violation, or the benefit of the remaining household members is terminated or reduced because of the disqualification.
• The individual’s benefit amount varies from month to month because of changes which were anticipated at the time of certification. Notify the individual at the time of certification that the benefit amount will vary.
• A household member subject to a strike or lockout begins receiving income due to employment or strike benefits, and the individual signed a waiver of the right to an ANP at the time of certification.
• A drug or alcohol treatment center or a group living facility loses its state certification or is disqualified as a retailer.
