305.17 Qualified Aliens with Restricted Eligibility Based on Date of Entry into the U.S. SR 97-43, 12/97 (FSM-A)

The following qualified aliens are EITHER:

. Eligible, if residing in the U.S. on or before 8/22/96; OR

. Ineligible for 5 years from date of entry into the U.S., when such entry occurred on or after 8/23/96:

- Lawfully admitted permanent residents with at least 40 quarters of SSA covered work history (see Crediting SSA Work Quarters below).
