305.17 Qualified Aliens with Restricted Eligibility Based on Date of Entry into the U.S. SR 98-44, 11/98 (FSM-A)

Eligibility of the following lawfully admitted qualified aliens is restricted based on their date of entry into the US. To be eligible based on alien status, the alien must have been living in the US as of August 22, 1996, and meet one of the following requirements:

�   Receiving payments or assistance for blindness or disability as defined in Section 3(r) of the Food Stamp Act (see Section229.03 , Definition of Disabled);

�   Lawfully residing in the US and age 65 or older (i.e., born on or before August 22, 1931); or

�   Lawfully residing in the US and are currently under age 18.
