For cases receiving FANF financial assistance and Food Stamp benefits, the Food Stamp recipient must meet the NHEP work requirements.

For Food Stamp-only cases or cases receiving Food Stamp benefits and/or medical assistance and child-care (with no FANF cash), the Food Stamp recipient can participate in the Food Stamp Employment and Training (FSET) job search program if the recipient chooses to. Do not sanction if the recipient chooses not to participate in the FSET program.
