An authorized representative (AR) may assist or represent an individual in any aspect of the eligibility process.

The AR is a person or agency chosen by the individual who:

. Assumes all applicant and recipient functions; and

. Acts on behalf of the individual in all or some of the aspects of initial and continuing eligibility.
