159 TERMINATION OF ASSISTANCE (MAM)

Terminate assistance for individuals who no longer meet the eligibility requirements for the type of assistance they are receiving. If the individual may be eligible for another category of assistance administered by the Division, advise the individual and determine eligibility for that assistance, if requested.

Document all decisions to terminate assistance.

The Disability Determination Unit (DDU) is responsible for determining whether the individual no longer meets disability or blindness requirements.
