219.01 Verification: Parents Caretaker Relative MA (MAM)

Verify eligibility for Parents Caretaker Relative MA at the initial eligibility determination and during subsequent review months:

. verify age of the dependent child and student status, if needed. Self-attestation is accepted unless a discrepancy occurs during the electronic verification process or the information is questionable;

. accept self-attestation that the individual is the caretaker relative or parent of the dependent child, with no further proof required, unless questionable;

. verify the dependent child meets the FANF deprivation of care criteria; and

. verify financial eligibility. Self-attestation is accepted unless a discrepancy occurs during the electronic verification process.
