307.05 Verification (MAM)

All SSNs furnished by applicants must be verified through an electronic Social Security crossmatch. If the crossmatch does not yield verification, notify the applicant that he or she must provide the information required to verify the SSN or must apply for a replacement SSN card through the nearest SSA office.

Not meeting SSN requirements results in denial of benefits to the individual for whom there is no SSN. The eligibility of the assistance group is computed without consideration of the individual's needs.
