317.17 Recovery Distribution (MAM)

OOS-ERU initiates all recovery of assistance through claims against estates and liens on real property. Upon receipt of the reimbursements, OOS-ERU is responsible for their proportional distribution to the federal government, the State, and the legally liable unit. Each governmental unit is rebated such monies according to its rate of contribution to the amount of assistance granted to the recipient.
