This section lists the most common types of income alphabetically. Each type of income contains a description and the treatment for that type of income. The treatment section explains if the income is excluded, earned or unearned, and if there are any adjustments which must be made prior to counting the income or any special instructions. If not otherwise designated, the treatment is the same for both modified adjusted gross income (MAGI)-related medical assistance and non-MAGI-related medical assistance.
