603.05 Adult Standard Disregard (MAM)

Subtract the adult standard disregard from the entire assistance group's combined countable income. The amount of the disregard is a flat rate based on the number of individuals in the assistance group. See the Adult Assistance Manual (AAM) Section 603.05, Adult Standard Disregard, for policy on applying this disregard to cash assistance cases.

Exception: Do not allow the adult standard disregard for individuals requesting:

. nursing facility care;

. MAGI-related medical assistace;

. HCBC-CFI MA-Only;

. HCBC-ABD MA-Only;

. HCBC-DD MA-Only; or

. HCBC-IHS MA-Only.
