715.07 When is Part A Buy-In Effective? (MAM)

For QMB, begin Part A buy-in the month after the month in which QMB eligibility is determined.

 If an individual is eligible for QMB and financial or medical assistance, the buy-in date is the earliest date they become eligible.

For QDWI, begin Part A buy-in the first of the month of application, or the first of the month in which all eligibility criteria are met.
