Glossary F-words (MAM)

Fair Market Value — For all assets other than automobiles and trucks, means the price at which a willing seller and a willing buyer will trade. For automobiles and trucks, this means the "trade-in value" as specified in the National Automobile Dealers Association (N.A.D.A) Official Used Car Guide, also known as the "Blue Book."

Family — Children and parents who have a biological, foster, step- or adoptive relationship, and who reside in the same dwelling.

Fleeing Felon — Individuals who are fleeing to avoid prosecution or custody for a crime, or an attempt to commit a crime, that would be classified as a felony (or in the State of New Jersey, a high misdemeanor).
