227.09 Family Planning MA Allowable Deductions SR 13-35, 10/13 (MAM-A)

Individuals with earnings are allowed a flat $90 employment expense deduction. Additionally, the following verified deductions or disregards may also be subtracted from the individual’s gross income:

• child/dependent care disregard for employed individuals;

• income allocated to dependents;

• garnishments from an individual’s earnings to repay a legal debt;

• training expenses; and

• any court-ordered payments, such as child or spousal support.
