237 NURSING FACILITY SR 13-35, 10/13 (MAM-A)

Nursing facilities provide health-related care and services on a daily inpatient basis.

Individuals that meet the categorical requirements of either OAA, ANB, or APTD may be eligible to receive nursing facility care if all of the following are met:

• individual complies with the preadmission screening program;

• individual lives in a nursing facility that is licensed and certified by the State of New Hampshire; and

• individual meets the medical need criteria for nursing facility care as determined by the Office of Long Term Care, Bureau of Elderly and Adult Services (OLTC-BEAS).

Nursing facility care is also available to FANF recipients and FANF-related medical assistance groups.
