401.01 Categorically Needy Medical Assistance SR 21-14, 03/21 (MAM-A)

Consider a MEAD/MOAD-eligible individual resource-eligible if the total value of countable resources of the assistance group is:

- $30,346 for an individual; and

- $45,517 for a couple.

• Consider a non-MEAD/MOAD-eligible individual resource-eligible if the total value of countable resources of the assistance group is $1,500 or less.

• Consider an HC-CSD categorically needy medical assistance group resource-eligible if the total value of countable resources of the assistance group is $1,000 or less.

• Apply a $1,000 resource disregard to all applicants and recipients of NF, CFI, or HCBC who meet the gross categorically needy income limit, but not the $1,500 categorically needy resource limit.
