State-Run Outdoor Fixed Testing Sites Will Be Closed On January 15 Due To Extreme Cold
Hundreds of Indoor Testing Options Will Be Open to Meet Residents’ Testing Needs
Concord, NH – The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has announced that the four COVID-19 fixed testing sites overseen by the State will be closed on Saturday, January 15 due to extreme cold.
Temperatures on January 15 are expected to be in the teens with a real feel of 40 degrees below zero. After consultation with the National Weather Service, the outdoor testing sites in Claremont, Manchester, Nashua and Newington will be closed out of an abundance of caution for the health and safety of staff and patients. Individuals seeking a test on January 15 are encouraged to keep themselves safe by accessing an indoor testing location.

The sites are expected to resume normal operations 9:00 am on Sunday, January 16. For residents seeking testing on January 15, more than 100 indoor testing locations will be open to safely meet the testing needs of residents.
