The New Hampshire Health Officer Manual is designed to support effective public health practice of local Health Officers by providing a collection of relevant guidance documents related to issues that Health Officers are likely to encounter.
The Health Officer Manual includes information about the Health Officers’ role and responsibilities in responding to different environmental concerns or inspection needs. It is prepared by the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Public Health Services with support from the New Hampshire Health Officers Association and various subject matter experts.
