Medicaid Quality Program
The New Hampshire Medicaid Quality Program supports DHHS in improving the health and well-being of Medicaid beneficiaries through data driven oversight and development of policy and programs, while leading quality assurance and improvement activities.
Maintains Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) required Quality Strategy that guides the work of the program to assure that members have access to quality care from Managed Care Organizations. The work is conducted by monitoring over 350 quality measures, oversight by an external quality review organization, and performance improvement activities.
New Hampshire Medicaid Waiver Quality Program
Provides structured evaluation and reporting for Medicaid Waivers. These include the Delivery System Reform and Incentive Payment (DSRIP), IMD Substance Use Disorder, and the 1915(b) Mandatory Managed Care Enrollment Waivers.
The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services Medicaid Quality website is a platform for the Medicaid Quality Information System (MQIS) to manage the submission, storage, evaluation and publishing of information. MQIS provides robust capabilities for the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services Medicaid Quality Program to conduct a wide variety of data analysis, quality program, and activities.
