247.05 RCA Application Processing Time Frame (FAM)

The official Filing Date for the application is the date when the application is:

• completed as described in Section 247.03, Completing an Application for RCA; and

• received by the District Office.

The time frames for processing the application begins on the date the completed DFA Form 800, Application for Assistance, is filed in the District Office. Once DFA Form 800 is filed, schedule all applicants for an initial eligibility interview.

Determine eligibility for RCA* as quickly as possible, but no later than 30 days from the official filing date of the application for RCA.
