263.13 Changes During the RMA Eligibility Period (MAM) |
___________________________________________________________
RMA must be terminated if changes in the refugee's circumstances cause the refugee to become ineligible for assistance prior to the end of the 12-month eligibility period.
Exception: RMA-only may continue for the full 12 months if the change causing the ineligibility is due to increased earnings. Once an individual is eligible for RMA, continuing eligibility for RMA for the maximum 12-month period is unaffected by increases in earned income, even if Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA) is terminated due to the increase in earned income. Discontinue RMA prior to the end of the AG's 12-month eligibility period if the individual becomes ineligible for any reason other than an increase in earned income.
For information on RCA, see Family Assistance Manual PART 247, REFUGEE CASH ASSISTANCE (RCA).
