627 ALLOCATION OF INCOME (MAM) |

Allow recipients of financial or medical assistance to allocate a portion of their income. Allocated income is considered an allowable income deduction when determining eligibility.
Exception: Allocated income is not considered an allowable deduction when determining eligibility for nursing facility cases. Allocated income is only recognized as a deduction when determining cost of care.
