To be eligible for medical assistance under the Aid to the Needy Blind (ANB) Program, an individual must:

be blind. The Disability Determination Unit (DDU) determines if an individual meets the medical criteria for blindness. See Department Administrative Rules at He-W 502 for detailed information regarding the ANB medical determination process;

meet the requirements in PART 300, NON-FINANCIAL CRITERIA; and

meet the financial requirements listed below;
